The Fiesta Bowl Parade doesn’t have much to do with the football game that shares the same name, but the annual event is just as much a Phoenix holiday tradition as the college football clash is.
This year’s parade is expected to draw close to 100,000 spectators excited to see the floats, balloons, horses, patriotic displays, local celebrities and marching bands. More than 1,000 volunteers are credited with making it all happen.
There will be five grand marshals to celebrate the theme of women in sports.
Here's a guide to enjoying this year’s Fiesta Bowl parade — or avoiding the street closures and traffic problems.
